How to use

You may have never used a device like this, and it has a slight learning curve. Below we have a few videos to demonstrate how to use the BakePacker as easily as possible.

What is the BakePacker

The BakePack is a metal grid you place at the bottom of a cooking pot that turns it into an oven. By add water to the bottom of the pot, the grid channels steam into whatever you're baking at a higher temputure. This is different from 'steaming' where you let the steam move through the food. This is more like steam powered, where you don't want the steam to soak into your food, just to heat it.

Ways to Cook

  • Box

    You can actually cook any baked treat from the box, whether it be Brownies or Pancakes. If they require any extra ingredients you'll need to have them with you. This is easiest way to get baked treats on the go.

  • Bag

    You can also cook things like eggs, or stirfry in a ziplock bag. Thicker sandwich bags won't melt. Just throw your favorite omelet ingredients in the bag. No mess, great taste!

  • Grill

    You can also use metal tent stakes pushed through the holes on the side to make a grill. Grill some meats, or your favorite vegetables.
